The event is designed to inspire and motivate the writer in everyone. The festival features premier authors you may or may not know, to create an ongoing enthusiasm for literature.

I will sit on a panel with founders of artist residencies. We’ll talk about applying for writers’ residencies. I will talk about my experience as a resident fellow at Hedgebrook, a writers’ retreat for women authoring change.

CityLit Festival highlights this year include Susan Straight, Marwa Helal, Casey Cep, Jennifer Baker, Madhuri Pavamani, and Kay Redfield Jamison, and Cynthia Manick.

Full program schedule coming soon. Pre-registration required. citylitproject.org
